Not sure what to say?

I worked in the hospital with Dr. Pearson and he was well liked and loved by all of us nurses. I knew him and his sweet wife from first Pres church. He was very active as an elder and spiritual friend. So sorry today is the first I heard.

Ellen, I don´t know f you´ll even see this; I followed Jay on the internet for years, through his career. Last time was about early December 2023. It appeared then that he was still active and his pic looked unchanged except for the hair color. He came to VM when I was a first year and he was a second. We were on Taft´s service, and I remember thinking what a great guy he was. Used to tell stories about the guys I ended up training with at MUSC. Suzanne told me what happened. So sorry to...

So sorry for your great loss

Dear Ellen, sending my prayers and condolences to you and your family. Fondly Diane Chapman

I worked with Dr Pearson at Bruce, in the late 80´s through the late 90´s. He was a great surgeon! I enjoyed working with him. He will live in many a person´s memory! Rest well Dr Pearson you deserve it! Prayers for his family, they lost a great man.

To the family we want to say how much we love this family! Starr Lawson and I were entwined with Jay and Ellen through First Presbyterian Church Florence. Our 12 years among you will always be cherished. Ellen, especially we want to say how dear you always were to us through Stephen Ministry and Starr was connected to Jay through many committee meetings and respected his exemplary character. We thank God for bringing us together for that time in all our lives. Please know we are keeping...

Family... I am so very sorry for your great loss. This great surgeon and God saved my life in October of 2005 after several months in the hospital. When I was discharged to Regency, he came over several times to visit. I knew from our conversations that he was a Godly and very caring individual. He said to me, you need to quickly recover, I have a wedding to attend. May our God wrap his loving arms around you during this difficult time and give you peace & comfort.

Prayers for Ellen and the family. He was a good man and surgeon. I´m sorry for your loss.

It’s so hard to loose old friends. With Love, Susan ( Graybill ) Hodges
