It's been one year ago today, since you left this mortal coil. I can't count the times I wanted to call you to talk, or seen a movie that we probably would have gone to. Your family misses you, your former co-workers speak about you when I visit the store and they miss you too. Brother, I sometimes feel you looking over my shoulder, watching out for me and there haven't been a lot of days when you didn't come to mind. We still talk about our times with Joe and the mob. Such a talented guy. I did get him to talk about his time in Viet Nam and even view his extensive slides. He was very close about that experience.

The two best words which sum up Joe Magnan are "That Guy". Joe was that guy who proudly served his country as a Medic in the US Army during Vietnam. He was that guy who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it and was always willing to help you out, even if he just met you. He was that guy who, after retiring as an auto mechanic, went back to school, at the age of 68, and became a Stihl Gold Technician.
