Not sure what to say?

Joe was one of mt favorite brothers , we spent a very happy growing up time in the parkdale and MtHodd area, Joe andI and Phyllis also mwent fishing a lot and went up to the top of Bald Butte quite often, We had to take our sister with us as we were her babysitter while our parents were working and we enjoyed babing a potatoe in pasture while we were fishing, as long as we could keep Phyllis from making to much noise, we loved it we loved Joe very much, he was a neat brother.

The years seem to have kept us apart more than not, but Uncle Joe will always hold a warm place in my heart. I'm sure that he had his bad days, but I can honestly say I never heard or felt them. How neat to be remembered by the laughter and warmeth that you brought to all of those around you. He and Auntie Pauline were the salt and pepper in a lot of lives that most don't even know about! She was no slouch in the humor department either. I hope I can come to the party and interment, please...

My sympathy to Joe's sisters Joyce and Phyllis. I do remember Joe and his coming
home in his uniform and etc.. My sympathy
is for the rest of his family.

Joe was a wonderful friend and neighbor. I miss his hugs of encouragement and his stories of the Bay Area, where I grew up. Tom misses the sports banter and Joe's great sense of humor, especially his one-liners! It was truly a privelege to know such an intelligent and caring man.

We have always felt that Joe and Pauline were so very blessed to have such a loving and caring family. God bless you, Mahar family. We know your loss is great.

We were blessed to know "Grandpa Joe," and we treasure both the good humor that he brought to our lives and his fabulous children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren that we are privileged to know.

We love you Joe, and we thank you for the love you brought to us.
