Darlene, so sorry to hear of your loss. Think of all the happy memories you shared and the many pranks you both played. The short time that I knew him at the Bloomfield Home Depot, showed me he was a great gentle giant, with a very warm heart. Just remember, all his pain and suffering is over. God is richly blessing you and your family.

Good men do great things once or twice in life. Great men like you do extraordinary things often. You where a husband,a father,a brother, a grandfather, an uncle and a friend to many many people. A person who would listen to the troubles of others and give the best advice by just saying what you would do. Your light may have gone out but your star will forever burn in our hearts forever. We will miss you until we join you again. We Love You Uncle Joe. George Dawn Morgan and Trevor Bussiere

Joe, I will always remember fondly the great times I had spending time with the Malenas. The trips to Hershey Park, Riverside and Camping in East Hampton and Christmas vacations. But what I will always remember most is the great sense of humor, even in an unpleasant situation. You were truly a second father to me as a boy growing up and your example as a father stays with me. Love you Big Guy. ~The Cracker
