Josefa and Julie, and all the Manella family, I as so sad to learn of your father's passing. I have such fond memories of this wonderful man. I really got to know Joe when he was Vice Principal of Stacy Middle School where I taught. I can still hear him over the loud speaker. One winter day, some students were throwing snowballs at the busses and the next day he yelled over the Intercom that he knew who they were and to report to the office immediately. All of a sudden, classroom doors...

r Manella(Joe) was a mentor and good friend to me when we were teachers and administrators in the Milford Schools. He was also a model whose example led me to a long career in the US Army and National Guard.A great hero,educator and family man. Anthony j. Cimino
