Joseph L. Margolis

We were, of course, saddened by the passing of Joe Margolis. My father, Louis Joseph was Joe's cousin, and grew-up in Providence. Interestingly, my mother, Sylvia Joseph (nee Schiffnagel) was related to Joe's dear wife, Anna. Although we now live in Montreal, my memories of visiting the meshpacha in Providence and attedning simchas at Shaare Zedek are both vivid and memorable. May the memory of Joe Margolis be a blessing to the entire family.

With a saddened heart, I send my deepest sympathy to the Margolis family and to Susan, Gary, Amy, and Debbie who I have a very special spot in my life. Joe was a "great" and learened man who I always had a great respect for and the dad of my dearest friend Michael who was taken at such an early age from all of us. May Joe's soul rest in peace.
