As kids we used to play at the Major Bent school playgrounds. Joe and I and many others such fun times and great memories. Joe was a great guy!

My sincere condolences to Joe's wife Barb and all of his family. I knew Joe in high school and always enjoyed his company. He was a fierce competitor on the basketball court. Joe actually treated my mother and her auditory needs for many years. I often got updates on him via that contact. And it was always a pleasure whenever we crossed paths and were able to catch up on life. He was so easy going and pleasant to be around. Joe really was "one of the nice guys."
