RIP
Lorraine and Douglas Shelbourne

My dear cousin, I am saddened by your premature passing. God will keep you by His side as you watch over your loved ones. God bless...

I found this poem on my mantle and don't really know where it came from so I thought maybe Joe wanted me to read it. It's titled "Remember What is Most Important" by Vickie M. Worsham.
It's not having everything go right; it's facing whatever goes wrong. It's not being without fear; it's having the determination to go on in spite of it. It's not where you stand, but the direction you're going in. Remember to live just this one day and not add tomorrow's troubles to today's load....

Warm Summer Sun

Warm summer sun,
Shine kindly here,
Warm southern wind,
Blow softly here.
Green sod above,
Lie light, lie light.
Good night, dear heart,
Good night, good night.

We are deeply saddened to learn of Joe's passing. A fellow chiropractor and Palmer Graduate....we know he will be greatly missed. He touched numerous lives in many ways. God Bless Joe and his family, our sincere prayers are with you. "From Above, Down, Inside, Out." -BJ Palmer....he lived it, he loved it... now he is rewarded and is Above with our Heavenly Father.

There really aren't words to describe my feelings. Joe is one of the best people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I will miss him dearly.

Joe Markovich & Dan Bohn 2008

Joe and I want to extend our heartfelt condolences to Dr. Joe's family and friends. We cannot imagine the void his loss leaves in your lives. He was always laughing and never had a harsh word. As a college student I was privileged to share the excitement and challenges of life at the Kappa Sigma House @ Wabash College (not as a student but the "girlfriend" who escaped Cincinnati for fun weekend visits and parties) over 35 years ago. I didn't realize at the time that I was in the midst of so...

Joe was a gracious friend and a kind, caring mentor. He made our world a better place. I will miss him. My deepest sympathies to his family.

My deepest sympathy to all of you. May your happy memories with Joe keep his spirit alive in each of you. Prayers, love & hugs
