Joseph "Mac" Marrione

Joseph Marrione (Mac) passed away peacefully on April 12th at the age of 90. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph Marrione and Anne Bono Marrione and sister, Claire Mae Marrione. Joseph is survived by his beloved wife of 69 years, Jacqueline Carday Marrione. Mac is survived by his 4 children Ray M. Marrione (Patricia), Jean Marrione Duke, (Gary), Joy Marrione Bloodsworth (Charlie) and Joseph Marrione, Jr. (Frank) his 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He was well loved and affectionately known for his good nature and generous heart. He will be forever remembered as a loving and loyal husband, father, grandfather and brother. Mac was an avid fisherman who loved spending time on the water with friends and family. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army who shared a deep faith in his God and treasured his family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Monday, April 16th from 10:00AM – 12:00PM, followed by a Funeral Mass beginning at 12:00PM. He will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
