Not sure what to say?

Joey was a great friend and mentor to me, Mikey, Gary, & T.... the Griffin boys circa 1980....he brought a wonderful uniqueness to the group with his vibes and double neck SG.....and of course his warm and forgiving soul....We were blessed to have worked with him getting know the all little quirks that made him Joey....including his many rants into classic show tune melodies that were a staple in his guitar solos....."I love you Baby and if it's quite alright, etc etc." His sound is forever...

Indeed-he was a great guitarist-and quite a dynamic one at that. We were not extremely close but he inspired me to push the boundaries musically. Thank you Joey, JM

As an East side drummer, I was more a fan, and never a close personal friend of Joey Marshall, but, over the years I couldn't help but see and hear his musical influence everywhere on the Saint Louis scene.

1) His band The Truth used to play with the Allman Brothers Band.

Joey, played the sound track to a lot of memories for many of us growing up. My condolences to the family. He will be missed

Such an amazing guitar player, was so much fun to watch all his bands.. He will be missed...

Joey was a lifetime idol of mine, from the first time I saw The Acid Sette when I was 14! I followed his career through The Truth, Jake Jones and especially Full Moon Consort! He was such a musical God to me that I was forever nervous even conversing with him, although his friendly smile and demeanor could always put me at ease! I am proud and happy to be able to have called him a friend and will never forget this musical giant and dear human being!

I had so much fun with Joey from youth to adult. Didn't keep in touch as we all should, but either way we had something special. Super Guy

A great artist,of music and life itself.

Such a bright mind & great guitarist - I had the pleasure of singing while his sweet playing enhanced my voice.
He loved his daughters - may your fond memories comfort you.
