Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Marshall and the Marshall Family
It's said that bad news travels fast, but I find that it isn't so. I'm far from Philadelphia and the news of Joe's death has just reached me.
Besides being a great teacher and a wonderful man, Joe was a mentor to me and got me started on a 42 year legal career that spans two countries.
So many years ago I learned that we shared much in common: neighborhoods, he Brewerytown, me Fairmount. Schools University of Pennsylvania, Temple Law School,...

Hi, Aunt Kaki. I remember one day years ago that I brought Adrian and Marie to the beach. ( and another time with my sisters and nephews) Uncle Joe was so gracious and light-hearted. I think of you and your family today, Aunt Kaki, in this time of sadness. Light and love to all of you. Bonnie Hauck

Mrs. Marshall, Chip and Phyllis,

The Professor was a nice man who will be missed. You have my sincere condolences.

Best,

Cheryl Meschler Ebner & Family

Dear Mrs. Marshall, Chip, Cathy, Jim, Elizabeth, Matt and Steve -

Your father was one of the kindest men I ever met at Temple Law School. It was always a pleasure to see him ever after at alumni functions.

I regret that I could not join you in Ardmore last evening because I was at public meeting in Frazer that ended after the Visitation.

Be assured of my friendship and fond regards for each and every one of you.

May our Risen Lord encourage your hearts. God bless...

Dear Marshall family,

I have very warm memory of the times that Joe and Kaki would pay us a visit at Temple University Rome. The staff loved him. Joe was 'Mr. Temple' to me.

Joe and family - so sorry for your loss

Always in awe of cousin Joe and Kaki not only for their professional status in the Philadelphia community but also for the wonderful family life they enjoyed together. Cousin Joe was a very bright and accomplished man, yet humble. Always a joy to be in the company of Joe and Kaki!

Condolences from Peter Sutherland Rothwell on the passing of a great Temple Law Professor, Joe Marshall. He will be missed and remembered fondly.

They just don't make men like Joe Marshall anymore. Bravo, dolce, gentile. Temple Rome will miss him for sure. Teri Monaco Morelli
