DR. JOSEPH P. MARTIN

I will never forget him. Dr Martin was best Dr. I ever had. That baby is now fifty-one years old.

I was a patient of Dr. Martin, he delivered my son who would have been 52, however my son passed away January 2009. Dr. Martin was my friend and my doctor. He always made you feel good about yourself.
The world will miss Dr. Martin, because of him we black women can be proud and thank God for putting him here for us.

Dear Martin Family,
I just read of Dr. Martin's homegoing. I was a patient of Dr. Martin's who delivered my son who is now 30. He was a proud black man that made all his patients want to be just as proud to be black as he was. I remember him telling me he did not want me to wear hospital gowns, to wear my own and to keep my hair neat, clean and to look like a million bucks. What a great and gentle man and doctor. I was his ptient from 1960 until he retired then Dr. Martin was my patient for rehabilitation. I truely will miss him.

My mother, my aunt, my sister, and cousins all went to Dr. Martin. He was always professional, courteous and supportive.
He won't be forgotten.
We will pray for you all....

To the family of Dr.Joseph Martin, He was the greatest man I ever met, he was the best doctor I ever had. He was a teacher for his young patients as well as the older ladies. He was a father for us all. I thank you for the time of day and night he spent away from his family to take care of us. It has been fourty-two years, but I will never forget his kindness.
