A life well lived - a good and faithful servant!

Joe Martin was a pillar in First Central since I was a little girl. A strong leader. Passionate. Involved. Known and respected by all. Even though we moved away over 25 years ago, we still stayed connected and he and peg supported us while we served overseas up until we came back a few years ago. They have been dear friends to my parents and we will truly miss Him. His passion for God and the church will always be an inspiration to me.

Joe was a great friend to my family and had been a fantastic example as a man of God to everyone he came in contact with. I know he is in heavens choir now. He will be missed. Ben and Wilma Turgeon

Joe martin was my friend in Christ and brother in spirit, we shared many great times of fellowship in Christ together, I have known Joe for almost 50 years at First Central Baptist Church, he was my Deacon,my Sunday School teacher and my mentor in christian living, rest well Joe we will meet again, Sheddy
