Not sure what to say?

Dear Marzilli family, We were deeply saddened to learn of Joe's death. We have many fond memories of eating at The Old Canteen and having Mr. Marzilli visit our table. He always made us feel like valued customers, and we were often flattered when we brought guests there, and we were treated like family. What a rich legacy Joe leaves. May your family find peace in their many fond memories.

Dear Mrs. Marzilli & Family:

Almost 40 years ago, when I first came to practice Law in Rhode Island, I was introduced to Joe and his fine restaurant. Although I was "wet behind the ears" Joe was kind, courteous, respectful and instructive. I learned from Joe and was proud to introduce him to my sons and daughter as a friend as well as an extraordinary restauranteur. When I last saw him at the dinner for the Providence Opera Company, it was as if the years had not passed - the twinkle...

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this very difficult time. He was a wonderful man and will be missed greatly. He was a true friend that no one will replace, ever.

Dear Jeannie & Emma,
Please accept my sincere sympathy and prayers in the loss of your Dad...
