Mr. Mascia,
Sir, as a fellow Marine I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the USMC in the Pacific fighting the Japanese during WW II. It was the history and accomplishments made by you and your fellow Marines back then that all of us Marines who followed in your footsteps have always tried to live up to. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

I am very sorry to learn of Joe's passing. My heartfelt condolences to Carol and the rest of the family. It was always a pleasure speaking with Joe; he's been checking on the status of Olive Garden coming to Rocky Mount since 2004. I'll miss his calls to Olive Garden Guest Relations. May his family be comforted by their memories.
