JOSEPH MASSALSKI

I knew Joe through my place of employment. He was a fan of the Silver Surfer comic book character, a philosophical character who is at home among the stars, riding the currents of space, standing against evil-doers and tirelessly aiding those in need. I enjoyed chatting with Joe about comics whenever he visited us, but I knew little about his work or personal life. After reading his obituary, I feel I understand better why he chose the noble Silver Surfer as his favorite hero. He will be missed.

Gerry, I am so so sorry for your loss. Joe was always there for everything important for family affairs. His expertise in photography and music was incredible. I loved his company and listening to his story's and knowledge at family get togethers. his commitment to his family was beyond reproach. I will miss you greatly. I don't know what else to say.
