Not sure what to say?

To the Massaro family. I was shocked when I heard about Father Joe. He was a very special person, who touched the hearts of many. I know he made a differnce in my life and I will always remember him in my prayers.

To Father Joe's family: Words cannot express what knowing Father Joe has meant to me. We met sixty years ago. He has been my confessor, confidant, family friend, officiated at my wedding, family first communions, family funerals, etc. His Scholarship 99 organization dedicated to the education of priests in the Stigmatine was close to his heart (my husband, Richard, now deceased, was #56 in the original 99 group). We loved you, Fr. Joe Massaro, you will always be remembered. Rest in...

I feel so honored to have served as Eucharistic Minister with Fr. Joe at his last Mass. He was a very devoted, kind and gentle priest who will be truly missed. I didn't expect his death to hit me as emotionally as it has!

Father Joe: The first time in 6 years we did not get together with you to play cards, dine out, when you would visit your name sake in Fl.

You had such a easy way about you. how one could talk to you & listen to your many stories & adventures. How my boys loved the summer camp. You will be so sadly missed. You worked hard at everything you did.
Charlie & I will miss you dearly.

I am so truly sorry for your loss of such a special person. Please know that my deepest thoughts and prayers are with your family. If there is anything I can do please let me know.

Fr.Joe has been a life long friend to our family. We have fond memories of him with my uncle Fr. George Connors. I remember him at camp Wyoma, visiting with his mother when I lived in Pittsfield, his 50th anniversary and him joining our family for many happy and sad events. My mother, Marie and I send our condolences to his family. He was truly a very good and religious person. I know God holds him in the palm of his hands today.
Mary & Marie Connors
