Joseph Normand "Norm" Mathieu

Norm was the very first Aetna person I met when beginnning employment. Because, after being advised to go to specific training room, I opened the door and he said, as the trainer leading the class, "welcome!". Rather simple opening, but I learned much from him, and we went on to play together on the Group New Business Review Department Slow Pitch Softball Team, which won the League Championship. I worked with Norm at Aetna long ago. He was lovely - always kind and fun to be aroun. He was also an excellent leader. I am so sad that he has gone. My sympathy to the family.

What a terrible loss. I had the opportunity to work closely with Norm for many years at Aetna. Norm was a rare combination of being a true professional and a truly nice person. He was a pleasure to be around both at work and in social settings. My sincerest sympathy goes to Kim and the rest of Norm's family. Norm will be missed by all. RIP, Norm.
