Not sure what to say?

Dear Mr and Mrs Matlock,

Your son was so kind to me. I was going through a hard time in my 20's. We were on tour in Mexico. He told me to always stay positive and always strive for my best. It helped me through my fog in life to always challenge myself and evolve. I'll never forget his smile. Thank you for bringing such a sweet soul into this universe.

Dear Mr. And Mrs. Matlock,
Please accept our sincere condolences on the loss of your precious son Joey. We did not know him ourselves, but he was a friend of our daughter Rachel Carns who lives in Olympia. Our hearts were heavy when she told us she lost a friend in the Ghostship fire. I know she is helping plan a memorial service for Joey on February 11 in Oly. I do hope that you receive this message of love and concern from us before that daye. We, too, have lost a son - Rachel's only...

My heart is saddened as I read the report of your son's tragic death. I don't recall having met him, but I do remember hearing you speak often of him. May God's peace surround you.

So many memories of Joey flood our hearts. Our love and prayers are with you.
