Not sure what to say?

This may be a little too late- but I would like to express my appreciation for Joe. I worked for almost 8 years at HWH Associates, Cleveland Ohio from 1966 thru 1974. He was a tough boss -- but very genuine. Although I disagreed with him on several instances, I deeply respected him for his work ethic and his penchant for doing the right job and meeting clients expectations. He is one of the key persons that influenced me the rest of my life and I always remember him very fondly.

I worked with Joe for many years when I was a member of the Goodyear Engineering team. I found Joe to be a true Professional and a Gentleman. I have very fond memories of him and feel his loss profoundly ! RIP my friend.

Joe's parents were our next door neighbors on Dalebrook Road in Independence, and we spent many happy moments with them and Joe. He was always a very classy man, and very helpful. Joe was a one of a kind friend and neighbor, like his wonderful parents, to be missed. May God protect the Matts Family and accept Joe's soul into His Heavenly Kingdom.

Joe was a great man and will be missed by everyone he knew . He was always a terrific mentor to me , but more than that , he was such a friend to have . I always enjoyed working with him and spending time socializing with him . I will always remember the times we were together .

Joseph Matts may I please call you Dad? our relationship is entering a new phase, but it is very far from ending. You will forever influence me and my loved ones.

Dad cared very deeply for all members of his family and for his close associates. He was lavish in bestowing support, advice and admonitions on us. I personally wasn't always smart enough to follow his advice, but I always respected it. In recent years, and actually for the twenty five years since the death of my own...
