Not sure what to say?

It has been years but I will always remember him because he was one of my favorite professors. He helped me believe in myself and wanted me to major in research. I was so flattered that I have never forgotten. This was in 1970 or 71.

A great professor who was always willing to give me good advice when I needed it. Rest in peace Dr. Mazur.

I was looking up my old professors from USF that I remembered and found this obituary on Dr. Mazur. I am 65 years old and only remember a few. He was such a good professor and asked me to change my Masters program and go into research. I was so flattered. I just retired from 30 years as a school counselor. I'm sorry for your loss.

Dr. Mazur would pay my sister and I $.10 for each lizard that we would catch in the neighborhood and release onto his property. He told us that he enjoyed having the lizards around. My deepest sympathy to your family. Joe was an exceptional man in every way. As my former next door neighbor, I remember spending many happy hours working in the yard and talking to Joe about every topic imaginable. He was a delight with a big booming "professor" voice and a wonderful sense of humor to match. He and Lois held the best parties ever where Joe made every single person feel important. He never met a stranger and was one of the most highly intelligent and accomplished...

I am deeply sorry to hear of this. I always enjoyed talking with Joe, found him to be thoughtful and a real gentleman and scholar.

Dear Jan,

I was very sorry to learn today about your family's loss. Your father was a wonderful man, and I will always remember his amiable, amused look whenever a horde of high school students would descend on your house. We will be thinking of you all on Saturday, and beyond.

Dear Jan:
Sending my Deepest Sympathy, to you and your family.

I'm so sorry for your loss. May the God of all comfort (psalms 83:18) be your refuge during these times.
