To the McElroy family,

I am so very sorry for your loss. My brother (Howard Rogers) thought of you as his second family, and I've seen Face many times over the years. Also attended High School with Chris. My heartfelt condolences to you.

Debbie (Rogers) Branco

Mr. McElroy,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the USN during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Joe was an icon in our industry and was well respected for his professionalism and talent. He mentored a good friend of mine and passed his knowledge to others.

Dear Chris,
Even though I have not had the pleasure of knowing your dad, after reading all of his accomplishments, it seems he had lived a very fullfilling life. A life most of us would hope to have. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.

Edy, please accept our deepest sorrow. Joe was the best friend and the first mentor to my career. His engineering knowledge and professional attitude toward work still influence me. We miss him!

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

My deepest sympathies to your family. I worked with Joe many moons ago at HNTB and he was honestly one of the nicest people I have ever come across. He will be missed.
