Clymer Funeral Home Cremations - Palm Coast Obituary

Joseph Michael McFadden, 63, of Palm Coast, Florida passed away peacefully on July 25, 2019 after a courageous battle with cancer, holding hands with his loved ones. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on May 8, 1956 to Henrietta (Boyd) and the late Martin McFadden. Beloved husband to Jane, his wife of 39 years and father to Meredith (Peter) Andjelkovich and Joe Jr. (Maria).

Very much loved for his wit and humor, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him, especially his six siblings, Martin, Libby, Terry, Matthew, Erin, Mary. Joe’s greatest joy was being Poppi to his four young grandchildren, Mia McFadden, Parker and Taylor Andjelkovich and Emma McFadden.

Joe spent his childhood in Chicago’s Beverly neighborhood and then moved with his family to Lighthouse Point, Florida where he attended nearby Cardinal Gibbons High School. He graduated from the University of Alabama where he met the love of his life, Jane Booth. Both of his children also graduated from Alabama. Joe was a proud father who never missed a family event and who took great pleasure and pride in his children’s accomplishments.

Joe Mac was an entrepreneur, visionary and sportsman with fierce determination and a love of life. He was co-founder of Meridian Energy. His business acumen, combined with his personality and wit, contributed to his success. Joe’s humor carried the entire McFadden family through occasional tough times and also drew his wide circle of friends from grammar school through college and beyond.

Our deepest sympathies and condolences from the Pat Callaghan family.

In loving memory of a wonderful guy. We had some great times on St. Patrick's Day. I always loved your sense of humor.

Dear Jane, Meredith, and Joe,
I am so sorry for your loss. I remember Joe as such a nice man. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Love,
Kate Waters

Jane, I am together with you. The pain of losing our husbands is immense. Please know that they are no longer suffering from cancer. They are well, they are free and have kissed the face of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, as He welcomed both Jim and Joe into Heaven, just days apart. May you continue to receive the comfort and love of family and friends, as I am, to get you through this journey. They were wonderful guys, and we are very lucky gals! Much Love to you and the family.

Dear Jane, Joseph, and Meredith
We will all miss Joe! He was such a positive person and always so much fun to be around. We won't forget him. Our love and prayers go out to all of you! The Yanovitch Family
