Not sure what to say?

My name is Darin Wald, and I was a classmate of Joe for a couple of years at St Meinrad. Joe was one of the first people I met when I arrived at the school. He was a friendly guy from the start; Joe was always up for a chat and a good laugh! His room was often a popular gathering place. My sincere sympathy to his family and parish.

Dear Marie and family, we would like to express our sympathy in the passing of Fr. Joseph. Although we have not seen you and your family in quite sometime, we wanted you to know our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time. Sincerely, Ray and Grace Durso and Cissy Pastorella (utica,ny)

Our prayers and thoughts are with the family.

Our loss is Heaven's gain! My condolences to the McGaffin Family as well as Fr. Joe's many friends, parishioners and especially the staff at St. Elizabeth Seton. He will be sorely missed!

I did not know Father Joseph personally, but I am privileged to know other wonderful priest classmates of his. May his soul rest in peace and may his memory be eternal! Requiescat in pace. Amen. Vichnaya pamyat! Blessed repose and eternal memory!Fr. Deacon Trevor Fernandes ,Ukrainian Greek Catholic Eparchy of Saint Josaphat in Parma, Ohio

Our deepest sympathy to his family and members of his Parish and his many friends. My husband and I loved Father Joe! We had the honor of being members of St. Mary's in Chandler when he was a Priest there. He had was always outside after Mass greeting all of the people and blessing the little ones. He had a warm and loving heart. What a tremendous loss for all of us on earth but such a joyous celebration with his Lord and Savior! The world has lost a wonderful man of God. He will...

My name is Brian Wigger and I am from Covington, Kentucky. Joe and I were classmates at St. Meinrad Seminary together. Joe was an exceptional friend and he and I along with another priest from Tulsa, OK were very close friends. I was shocked to have received word that Joe died. When the word got out about Joes' death, many of us contacted one another and began telling stories. We laughed together often in our days at St. Meinrad, and prayed together daily and cried together at times....

Deepest sympathy and my prayerful support..especially to his mom and family....Fr Joe was a great friend who welcomed me to assist at St Elizabeth nearly 5 years ago...always treated me with kindness and friendship...we are all so grateful for his ministry
