Not sure what to say?

It was such an honor to have Joe review my debut novel last year upon it's release. I considered him a kindred spirit, and yet I can only aspire to have as big a heart as he did. Such a wonderful, shining soul. I am certain he is still tending to those things that meant so much to him while here, and will continue to work in the lives of the writers he networked with and the people he loved. May his family be comforted in this time of sorrow, but also know that he lives on in spirit.

Joe was a wonderful person who had so much talent. He was also a very caring and kind person. When my sister died earlier this year, he contacted me and told me if I needed anything to please let him know. He was just that kind of person. His heart was just as big as the wonderful gift of writing that God had given him. I and so many others will miss him. Rest in peace Joe, I hope you look down on all of us writers who would one day like to be able to measure up to half of what you did in...

I never got to meet Joe but we emailed occasionally and he was a supporter of my own horror writing -- I hope people will continue to buy his books to keep his spirit alive! I'm going to order one myself at Amazon.com right now. My condolences to all his loved ones.
