Not sure what to say?

May his memory be a blessing.

Joe was our dear family friend for over 50 years. He was a terrific person with many talents -- a union organizer, a "bones" musician and an Americana collector with a keen eye for historical, and unusual antiques. In his travels, he would find treasures and bring them to our shop in Belmont Shores. He gave a special performance playing the bones at my folks 50th wedding anniversary. We will miss Joe and he will be in our hearts forever.

My deepest sympathy to all Joe's children and Theresa. He will be missed.

Larry and his Family

And a season for every activity under heaven:

A time to plant and a time to uproot,
A time to kill and a time to heal,
A time to tear down and a time to build,

A time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
A time to embrace and a time to refrain,

I will never forget the times in our lives when Joe was there for his family when they needed him so much when things happen that there is no good answer for....I know they will miss him greatly. My thoughts and love to the McGee family.

Blessings and prayers to you and your families at this difficult time. Roberta and Jim Burnett

A life lived well. Thank you Joseph Sr. For your contribution including raising children who contribute to the community and continue your fight for social justice.

I treasure my memories of Joe while he lived here in Denver; he so generously helped us find our way when we moved here. His great wit and adventurous spirit made him always fun to be with.

To all of the McGee family:

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I remember the day I first met Joe at Dennis and Sherrie's wedding (1972). I was so impressed that you guys all knew "Fred Astaire!" :) He was a wonderful man and will be missed terribly. God bless you all.
