Joseph Daniel McGowan

My thoughts are with all of you during this time- I am so sorry about Joe's passing. He was such a part of my life growing up, and many others as well. I have great memories of long rides in the station wagon, Napa Valley Ranch Club and too many parties and holidays to count! Joe's sense of humor, kindness and the care he showed for all of us was a such a positive influence on many of our lives. I will miss him- and if he has joined up with my dad in heaven yet I bet they are cracking...

I never liked the job, or the surroundings, except for Joes wild voice, and great sense of humor, and a caring heart.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I'll never forget how warm and comforting it was--just about every holiday during my 20's--to visit Joe & Buzz. Their home was always open and they welcomed me with open arms (even though they had just met me when Sharon Mahoney & I were roommates). It's a huge loss for the family...and to all of us whose life he touched.

May he rest in peace in the loving arms of our Lord.
