McGuinness, Joseph M. Ann Arbor, MI (formerly of Detroit and Linden) Age 59, died Friday, January 6, 2006 at his residence. Funeral service will beheld at 12 P.M. Monday, January 9, 2006 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road in Flint, Pastor al Administrator Lorraine McGuinness officiating. Burial in St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Fenton with a military grave side service under the auspices of Fenton VFW Post #3243 Hon or Guard. Those desiring may make contributions to the Marine Corps League Flint Detachment #155. Visitation 5-7 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. Joseph was born in Detroit, MI on July 15, 1946. He graduated from U of M. He served in Vietnam. He was a member of the Disabled Veter ans and was a Navy Corpsman. Surviving are six brothers, John (Rose) of McLean, VA; Kevin (Linda) of Sommerset, NJ; James (Christine) of Saginaw; Paul (Sherrie) of Grand Rapids; Thomas (Nancy) of Alameda, CA; and Stephen of Flint; four sisters, Mary Rose and spouse Dana Ellen MacMillan of Royal Oak; Aileen (Lenard) Koziol of CommerceTownship, MI; Margaret (Erick) Buccholz of Ferndale; Kathleen (Dennis) Hodges of Flushing; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by parents, John and Aileen; broth er, Eugene.
