Not sure what to say?

He was always Joey to me. We would play badminton for hours when we lived in St. Felicitas Parish. I would stand in Joey's backyard and he would stand in the alley and we'd play over the fence. We'd hit line drives and people would watch us.I think we amazed ourselves. I was able to connect with Joe a few years ago and just recently found out about his passing. Eternal rest grant unto Joey, Oh Lord, and may the perpetual light shine upon him and may he rest in peace. I miss you my friend!...

Joe McMahon was my friend and fellow "in-law" with the Powers family. Co-incidental our parents were friends. There will always be that bond between the McAuliffes and McMahons. Miss you Joe. Wishing you peace. Patti

I worked with Joe at First Chicago on the trading floor. He was a solid guy who was a straight shooter. There was no BS about him. That is what I appreciated the most. His leaving us is felt by many.

Our family lived across from the McMahon's on Dante Avenue in Chicago in the 50's and 60's. I have many fond memories of our times at St. Felicitas School. Joe was at one of Judy and Brian McMahon's gatherings and I immensely enjoyed conversing with him. My sympathies are with the McMahon family at this difficult time.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Joe was so full of life and will be missed. Jane Bickel and family Chicago IL.

Dear Rosemarie and Family,
Our deepest sympathy to all of you. We have such fond memories of many a summer in Long Beach. Our prayers are with you.

Dear McMahons....Our hearts hurt for your loss of Joe, who left too soon. We were blessed to know him and see him at family gatherings at Brian & Judy McMahon's. Our prayer is that your faith and the love of family and friends will provide all of you the strength to endure these difficult days. Joe knew no stranger and always made us feel a part of the gatherings. May the celebration of his life bring you comfort. His handprint remains on all of our hearts. Blessings always, Dave &...
