Not sure what to say?

Maureen, I am so, so sorry about Joe's death. I just happened to look him up and saw the obituary. He was a good boss and I really cared for him. How is Joey? I saw that it was in March. The girls had a good relationship with him. God bless you both and know I grieve also.

Today it has been a year that you gone. I didn't know you passed away. It has been very hard for me to learn that you are not here no longer. My thoughts and prayers go to you Joe.

I just received the Lowell Catholic newsletter and saw that Joe had passed away. I remember his wit and humor when we played baseball and basketball at Keith Academy. We talked at the 40th KA reunion and he was still the same as in high school. Condolences to his family, he will be remembered by all of his classmates. I can still hear him saying "Laddie" when we were coached by Brother George on the baseball team our junior year.

I've known Joe from the Lowell Highlands and Bentley College when it was in Boston, on Boylston St. Joe was a friend to everyone. A little story few may remember or know about: His on-stage acting skills. The year was about 1963 when Bentley was having a talent contest, held in playhouse within an insurance company off Copley Square.
Dressed like a janitor, Joe walked hesitantly toward the middle of a huge stage, looking up, down, and everywhere wondering where everyone was. While...

I was so saddened to hear this news. God speed Joe!
