Not sure what to say?

Sara, Sorry I could not come to Joe's funeral. I was under the care of the Dr. and could not travel. Remember, I am one day older than Joe.We went all through school together and were always friends, and even shared lunch at times. My mother told me she and Mrs. McPherson lay side by side in the hospital when Joe and I were born.

Sara and Family: All those impressionable young people that Joseph (Coach Mac) reached out to will live to honor him each one with his or her own passion. It is said that you can never forget someone whose spirit forever resides in your heart...such is Joseph McPherson to me.
Live on Coach Mac. Live on in all of us.

To The McPherson Family:

Mr. Pherson was a positive role model in my life. I still think of the time he drove my twin brother and I home after our Central High graduation ceremony in 1979. My family and I extend our condolences to you and will keep you in our prayers.
