Not sure what to say?

Liz - this is a voice from waaaay back. Nancy "Lee" Sherk Price. I met both you and Joe in the ALNG when I was PFC and then later attended AMA. You and Joe were both inspired me. I was sorry to read of his passing but was glad to read that y´all had three children. I hope that time has assuaged the pain of your loss.

Joe was one of my very best friends at St. Cecilia School in Kearny, NJ. I haven't seen him since we graduated in 1960, but have such fond memories of him.

To the McSorley family, my prayers are with you always. Joe was a great man and he will be truly missed.

Quite a long time ago I worked with Joe at Kearny Shop Rite as a stock clerk and we had many interesting times together. He was influential in my pledging Tau Delta Phi at Rutgers NCAS from which I still have many close friends. I was fortunate to have spoken with him after our last fraternity reunion and happily recounted old times. He is missed. My condolences to the McSorley family.

Joey and family,

I had the pleasure of working for Joe the last year that Progressive Systems was located here in Birmingham. He was one of the most genuine, generous, humble and intelligent men I had ever come across in the Birmingham business community. In addition to your huge personal loss, I know St. Thomas has a huge void in it's family as well.
My thoughts and prayers remain with you.

I had the pleasure of meeting Joe and having him in my orientation class at Brock's Gap Training Center. In my short time of knowing him, Joe was very kind, personable and instantly charismatic. I grieve your loss and wanted you to know he will live on in my memories, no matter how briefly I knew him.

So sorry to hear of Joe's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. God Bless.

Dear Liz, Joey, Bethie & Alex,

I am so sorry to hear of Joe's passing. He is one of the finest men I have ever worked for and his friendship will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Liz,

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Joe. I enjoyed serving with you and Joe in the Alabama Army National Guard. My prayers are with you and your family.
