Joe was a longtime neighbor of mine . It has been several years since he moved away and I have just heard of his passing . My children still talk about him and how nice and funny he was when he talked to them .

Many of us at Rhode Island College have fond memories of Joe for his dry, quick wit, always accompanied by a twinkle in his eye. He began his teaching career at RIC in 1965 and was extraordinarily popular among students and his peers alike.
