Joseph's passing was discovered March 9 2022. He us survived by his parents Phyllis and George Mejica, his sister Heather, his cousins Sarah and Lisa, his aunt and uncle Suzanne and Philip and close friend Connie Page. The family mourns his passing and he will be missed. He will be remembered for his love of animals, fishing and for past good times. Private family services pending. Arrangements thru the Neptune Society of Oakland.

I taught Joseph in high school. I will always remember his beautiful blue eyes and his soft smile. I am beyond sorry to hear how difficult his life must have been. Sending my love and prayers to his family in their impossible grief.
