Not sure what to say?

We knew each other well. I remember you and your vulnerability, the need to be accepted by your dad and the incredible potential that was so far beyond your reach. You challenged me and I became the artist. We were too young to succeed but I remember your smile and your immense talent. I hope you are somewhere safe. Many blessings!

You were the heart of the Gypsy Bar Ive Machine High-Entropy Softball Team. Keep on throwing the ghost pitch wherever youre playing now, pal.

Joe, you WERE the Gypsy bar...you ran it well and we all had such a good time...the best of times in so many ways!!! Love you forever....have thought of you many times over the years, remembering that firefighters pole in your bachelors apt in town, much fun sliding down to the ground floor!... Calvin, et al., the best Pizza, the best Italian food, your big bro and "Scarlet",one of your best friends and my sweetie, the other Joe..we lived! XO See you in the next round!

So sad and so young. I knew Joe at Yale when he ran the Gypsy Bar...he and the bar were both icons. He was a wonderful person; always willing to be your friend. There was never a dull moment with Joe. RIP dear friend.

Bye Joe. We've hade many fun (and a few less fun) moments at Dexter & Hayes. I'll miss you. Marie Lantz in Sweden
