It's been a little over a month and I just wanted to say how much I love you all. Dad will always be around becuase a part of him lives in us all. I also wanted to tell you how proud I am to be included in this wonderful family.

I miss you very much, I know that you are with God and are rejoicing and pain free. It still hurts to not have you or your hugs here in the flesh.

For those of you who may be confused, Joe and Sally 'adopted' my sister Corrina & I because our parents moved to Texas and we missed them terribly. Joe and Sally took us in as their own; they opened their hearts to us and have been parents to us for over ten years.

Our families have been neighbors for nearly twenty years, since our boys were little.

Joe and Sally's example of faith, self-giving, parenting, and acceptance of the ups and downs life has to offer and to do so without despair, make them a model for others to follow.
