We were very sorry to hear of the passing of a great man, Mr. Michaels. I had the pleasure of meeting him when attending Andy and Katie's wedding, then at the baptism of their daughter and Joe's grandaughter Emily. My husband recalls many special memories of "the man everyone likes" as he says. He enjoyed many fun times with Mr. Michaels while he and Andy played on the Springfield Capitols hockey team. Dear Joan and Family:

I am so sorry to learn of Joe's passing. Joe and I grew up together in Forest Park, and spent many enjoyable days together.

I know that he had some health difficulties in recent years. However, he never lost his good attitude and sense of humor.

Although my wife and I are now in Florida, and cannot attend Joe's services, our thoughts are with you and your family.
