Goodbye to a faithful friend and servant of Deep River. He did so much for the community. He obtained our Plattwood Park. He was always willing to help where needed. I admired his "grit" when he cut down a huge tree in our yard. He climbed it to fasten a rope, which he pulled to guide it, and ran when it fell. He has earned his rest but we will miss him.

To the Miezejeski family,
I am so very sorry to read of Joe's passing. Joe definitely left his footprint on the town of Deep River. His kind, gentle demeaner was always appreciated. Every spring I say a little prayer to Joe, to thank him for the beauty he added to our community.
Joe, you and your family are in my heart, thoughts and prayers.
