Joseph J. Milisits, 78, of Bushkill Township passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at home. Born on June 15, 1937 in Moore Township, he was the son of the late Stephen J. and Anna C. (Schramel) Milisits. Joseph was a truck driver most his life and retired from Ideal Industries, Bath in 2005. He honorably served his country in the United States Army. Joseph was an active member of Bath Fire Company - Station 40 for 53 years and served as past President. He was also a life member of Bath Fire Co. Social Hall. Joseph loved his children and grandchildren and he especially enjoyed picking up his granddaughter, Sarah from school. Survivors: sons, Joseph D. Milisits of Bath and Todd M. Milisits of Philadelphia, daughters, Annamarie Angst and her husband John of Whitehall, Salina Kocher of Bath, Patrice Markulics and her husband Charles of Bushkill Township with whom he resided, five grandchildren, Robin, Melissa, Emily, Nicholas and Sarah, sisters, Hilda Schoeneberger, Maryann Lilly and Anna Mills all of Bath, many nieces and nephews. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 15th at 11:00 a.m. in Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, 210 East Northampton Street, Bath. Family and friends may call Thursday evening 6 - 8:00 p.m. and Friday 9:15 - 10:15 a.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st Street, Northampton. Burial with full Fireman Honors will follow at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish cemetery. Online condolences may be submitted at www.reichelfuneralhome.com. Contributions: Memorials may be presented to Bath Fire Company Memorial Fund.
