Barbara - I was shocked to receive a call from the new accounting firm telling me of Joe's death. I did not know. Virginia is a long way from Red Bluff. Joe was a good friend, accountant, and hunting buddy. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Barbara,
I am so glad that I had a chance to talk with you this week. It has been a long time since I have seen you. My Deepest Sympathy in your loss. I am keeping you and your family in my Prayers....Since I saw you I have been thinking about the years growing up here in Red Bluff, the Rodeos, Rodeo Parades, Rotary Meetings (with my Dad), the Elks Club Bar (before the Rodeo Parade) at Uncle Jack's (John Trainor)and at Rosemary's House...Terry and Jesse's Ranch, when Brad and the kids were here during Easters..Joe is in all of them. He always was friendly and laughing and fun to be around. Such a Caring man. Many Wonderful times.......God Bless You Barb...Love, Susan (Nelson) Utecht

Barbara...I was so surprised when I called Mike today and he told me
that Joe had died earlier this month. I am so sorry for your loss. Please know that he will be in my thoughts and prayers.
I have pictures of Joe as a little boy playing in the neighborhood. He always had a twinkle in his eye.

Barbara and family, we are so sorry for your great loss. As a new bookkeeper in 1983 I met Joe who did the accounting for CETA program. To one of my questions he replied in his raspy voice "Ron...cash is cash." Since then Joe has prepared out personal income taxes. My wife and I have always considered Joe a good friend and mentor. We will miss him greatly. Our prayers are with all of you. Ron and Jerree Largent

Joe was a big part of our lives. From floating down the Cottonwood Creek to clam digging on the Oregon Coast and all of the good times in between, Joe would always make everything an adventure filled with excitement and laughter. We all loved Joe and will miss him.
