Noreen, so sorry to hear about Joe. He was one of the best copy editors at Ma Herald. And, he was a handful as you know...Never was one to mince words...we had many a battle, but always loved and respected each other.

Dear Noreen,
I was so sad to see Joe's obituary in the Herald today. He was such a funny, down to earth "nuts and bolts" guy from Pittsburgh. We sort of lost touch after the Miami News reunion, but I find myself quoting him from time to time. Please let me know when you are planning his memorial service.
Love to you and your family.

Noreen, I was truly sorry to hear of Joe's passing. He was always one of my favorite cousins. I wish we could have seen more of each other over the last few decades, but time and distance always interfered. I will always remember him as a fun loving guy, and will cherish the times we did spend together. Please express my condolences to Sam and Eve, and know that I will keep Joe and his family in my prayers.
