I am so sorry to hear of Joe's passing. I did not have the chance to meet him in person, but did speak to him a few times to update him about activities at the Temple School of Pharmacy -- he was especially generous to his alma mater, supported the School as a Preceptor, and was an active member of the School's Alumni Association. He will be missed.

On behalf of the Mapp Family, I offer my heartfelt condolences to Joyce and the entire Mogil family. Words cannot be shaped to sufficiently soften the grief that we are feeling behind Joe’s death. Joe holds a very special place in my heart. He was the father I never had; he was my mentor; my trusted advisor; and my best friend. He taught me, supported me, encouraged me, and inspired me in so many ways. Joe, I love you, and the Lord knows how much I'm going to miss you.

Joe was in our lives for a very short time(thirteen years). He was a kind person and very creative. He had many hobbies and loved his gadgets. He was a loving husband to our sister Roberta. We will always remember him.
