I did not know Joe that well, however my good friends Katherine and Phil were best friends of his. They spent a great deal of time with him and Anna trying new restaurants to eat at all the time. They enjoyed each others company very much! I know he will be missed by them especially. I want to extend my sincere sympathy and condolensces to his family and friends. My heart goes out to all of you at this time. God bless you!

To Angela, Gina and Joe's friends,
Although I haven't seen Joe for many years, we corresponded frequently by e-mail. I always told him he should compile his writings into a book. If anyone has his e-mails saved, it would be so nice to compile them all into a book. I have so many wonderful memories of Joe and the times we did spend together. I particulary remember his 40th birthday party, dinners in North End, party at my house (remember Gina?), sitting with him at his sick father's...

Joe,
You are the most gentle guy I've ever met. I will always remember your smile and treasure the many conversation we had. Thank you for taping your playing the piano for me. It was such a great delight to know you. You had great work ethic, and carried out your responsibility on the job till the very end. Premium tax will never be the same after you are gone. Will always miss you.

On behalf of the Maggio's, we wish to extend our condolences to Joe's loving family.
We will always remember Joe as a kind and gentle friend.
When recalling our childhood on Saint Francis St, we often think of Joe, nights at the dugout, introducing us to astrology and his home written comic book issues, just to mention a few of the many amazing things he brought to us at that young age.
He will always be remembered and never be forgotton as a truly unique human being and...

Joe,
As I am struggling with the CFA materials these days I remember your gentle introductions to the accounting fundamentals many years ago. You were very patient and generous with your friends. You will be missed.

To The Monarca Family,
You know how I felt about Joe. Over the last few months, we've had the chance to tell some stories, laugh and cry. For those of us who have had the privilege of really knowing Joe, he'll be missed.
