Not sure what to say?

On behalf of the Tom Illmensee family in Huntington and Richmond we all extend our condolences. Our God has seen fit to devastate you with this loss,and we pray that at the same time He will give you the faith , love and ,grace to to accept what none of us can understand. Peace.

To the Montesano Family;

I was deeply saddened to hear the news about the passing of Deacon Joe. My prayers and thoughts are with you all.

I know Joe was one of those rare people who believed his life was separated into "thirds". The first "third" is the period in which we "learn". The second period is when we "earn". The last third is when we "return" back to our community that what we've "learned" and "earned" to help make other people's lives better than they ordinarily...

My Uncle Joe, always smiling. - Rachelle

Dear Jane and family,
Joe gave so much to our parish and he will be missed so much! Personally, we have lost a warm and wonderful friend. When Joe was giving out Communion he gave the host and cup to us Marriage Encounter style and we loved that.
Joe's big heart and even bigger hugs will never be forgotten.
God be with you,
Marge and Joe Dritto

I am fairly new to Our Lady Queen of Martyrs, but Joe was part of the welcoming committee. I was touched by and related to his anecdotes of growing up in an Italian family in NYC. His great booming voice "This Mass Is Over" will be missed. My prayers and sympathy to you and all the parishioners. It is our loss.

To Jane and family, I am saddened by the news. As the 1 year anniversary of my Dad's passing approachs (my Dad and Joe were cousins), my faith tells me that Dad and Joe will grow closer in heaven. My condolences and prayers during this difficult time. Joe's laughter and smile will live on.

Jane and Family:
I was so deeply saddened to learn of Joe's death when I read the OLQM Bulletin. What a tremendous loss to you and to the OLQM parish family. He was such a gentle giant of a man and resonated a genuine caring for all to whom he ministered. You are all in my prayers.
