Not sure what to say?

In my early days living in Santa Fe, I had the good fortune to befriend the smiling Joseph. He made this New Yorker feel at home instantly. Miss you Joe. Michael

To Joe's children and siblings. I am saddened by Joe's passing. His positive, enthusiatic spirit, good humor and compassion were inspiring. We were friends from GU. May he rest in peace.

CHUCK ATWELL

Dearest Lynda Jean and Patrick,
Lo siento mucho. Our families have been inextricably intertwined for a lifetime. In recent years, I had the pleasure of long conversations with Joseph about Lorella, Ted and A.T. Della's bizcochitos, Democratic National Conventions and Senators long gone. He always enjoyed receiving The Senator's memorabilia from my mother Margaret's treasure trove. I had just assembled another collection for your family, including a box of The Senator's pens and a...

We met Joe soon after moving to Santa Fe in 2000 and although we didn't see a lot of each other, we kept in touch via e-mail. Joe was a supporter of animal welfare and had his photo taken with his dog and Santa Claus a couple of years ago at our annual Photos with Santa at PetSmart. I woul be happy to forward a copy of one of the photos to Joe's family. Bobbi and Doug Heller ZIA FILM/Felines & Friends

We are so sorry to hear of Joe's passing... He was a beautiful spirit and his laughter and wonderful sense of humor will be missed. We joyously think of him now in "The Happy Hunting Ground" but know his spirit will always be with us ... Sending many blessings to the family ... Barbara & Ron Pace

Lynda, Patrick, and Little Joe's family,
I'm very sorry to hear of Joseph's passing. I happened to be in Santa Fe for a funeral when I heard the news. Took a drive through the old neighborhood--very nostalgic and emotional. We were all very lucky. I am praying for all of you.

Dear Lynda and Patrick,
I too have been thinking of those good old days growing up on Callecita and Sunset streets. We all had some wonderful times in that neighborhood. My thoughts and prayers are with all the family. Joe will be missed.
Fondly,
