JOSEPH A. MORAN

MORAN--Joseph A. on October 26, 2011 in his 81st year, passed away at home surrounded by his family. Graduate of Fordham University, 1955. Veteran, U.S. Navy. Former Owner, President and CEO of Circle Line Statue of Liberty Ferries, Inc. Former Chairman of the Board of Bishop Ford High School. He also served on the boards of Xavier High School, Manhattan College and Hamilton Federal Savings Bank. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Marge (nee Lennon), his five children; Joseph (Megan), Daniel (Mary Jane), Marguerite, William (Mary), Robert (Donna) and 12 grandchildren; William Jr., Marissa, Michele, Paul, Daniel, Joseph, Michael, Timothy, Matthew, Marguerite, Alexandria and Emma. Joe is predeceased by his brothers Daniel and William. Visiting Thursday and Friday 2-4 and 7-9pm at Clavin Funeral Home, 7722 4th Ave., Brooklyn. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday 9:30am at Our Lady of Angels R.C. Church.
