Joseph W. Moreau Sr., 91, passed away Thursday November 23, 2023 at Serenity Hospice in Hamilton Township, NJ. Born and raised in Salem, NH, Joe was an Army veteran of the Korean War. After serving he relocated to Bordentown and had worked for Princeton University and Acme Markets. He was also a past member of St. Mary’s Church in Bordentown.
Predeceased by his parents Louis and Mary Moreau and his siblings, he is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law: Joseph W. Moreau Jr and his wife Lori of Hamilton Township and Paul A Moreau and his wife Megan of Lumberton. His daughters and sons-in-law: Sharon A. Carroll and her husband Tom of Bordentown Twp. And Babette S. Edgar and her husband Todd of Reisterstown, MD. Four grandchildren: Tara, Erin, Michael and Henry. Five great grandchildren: Noah, Joanna, Talon, Avery and Daisy and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, December 11 at Mary. Mother of the Church, 45 Crosswicks St, Bordentown, NJ. Friends may call Monday morning from 9 am until 10:45 at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown. Interment will follow in Brig. Gen Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The America Heart Foundation or Charity of your choice.
