Not sure what to say?

Mr Joe was my best headteacher at kerugoya school for the deaf kenya. May he rest in peace.

Kerugoya, Kenya
Joe with deaf children

Uncle Joe, like his brother Uncle Frank, left an indelible mark on my heart, my soul. Each was a man of great love, great courage, great strength.

Although the majority of the extended Burr Morrissey Acquino family lived much closer, Uncle Joe was one of the first family members I met when David Burr and I began dating. First Aunt Skip (Della Acquino) and then Uncle Joe.

Kerugoya School for the Deaf 1979

To the Morrisey Family, we offer our condolences. We grew up at 144 School St in Sax. We lived downstairs and Morrisey's lived up stairs before they built their home across the street. Our Grandmother babysat Frankie and Joey after school. It's been a long time. RIP dear Joey. Jayne (McNamara) Wales and Ed McNamara.

A great loss for humanity a tremendous gain for heaven.

We are sorry to learn of the passing of Joseph, but are grateful for his service to our nation as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Uganda.

Our Condolences,

The National Peace Corps Association
