Not sure what to say?

Joe and I talk often of the fun times we shared with Susan and you kids. It was such a shock to hear about Joe. What a fun-loving kid, always cheerful and smiling. May his memory be a blessing. Love, Jody

I worked with Joe for just a short time over 10 years ago, but we quickly became close friends and stayed in touch for many years even when I moved to another country. I'll always remember his huge smile and caring attitude. He was and amazing person and I'll always remember him. May his memory be a blessing.

When I met Joe. He was so quiet and peaceful. He always wore his hoodie with the band TOOL on it. We shared the same favorite band. I would stop by the game room just to say hi and have great conversations with him. His passing weighted heavy on my heart.

I will always remember when I returned to the fort after a short lived hiatus in Las Animas Joe was one of the first people I saw. He was working in the game room and I was showing a guy around and when we walked by Joe jumped up gave me a huge hug and told me how happy he was that I bad book. Joe you will be missed my friend.

I will always remember playing original NES at sleepovers when we were in Elementary school together. We'd stay up all night. He was a kind soul and would always help if you were in need. We were always friendly with each other, but we lost touch after high school. I saw him maybe 10 to 15 years ago at Taste of Philly, but he was too busy to talk.

I will forever remember Joe´s contagious smile and infectious laughter. I am grateful for all the moments we shared, and can see him up in heaven right now looking at the menu, seeing French dip ah jus, and with the biggest smile just saying "awwwww-jeahhh." I bet Jesus is sitting across from him in the booth laughing so hard just like I always did.

I remember Joe as a young kid, full of life! His mother, Susan, and I were best friends for many years and Joe and his sisters and Susan would come to visit me and my family in Washington ( I have a Joe about the same age) or I would visit in Colorado. May his memory be a blessing.
