Not sure what to say?

To all those who loved our dear Fr. Joe...what a blessing from Heaven we have truly received in his life! He meant so much to me at key times in my life's journey, as well as so many others:-) From his veiwpoint now from Heaven above, no doubt He knows with renewed grace how vital his interaction with each of us had been. May Our Lord continue to shower His mercy upon us with holy & loving priests!

Our condolences to the Mullen Family.
Father Joe was a special person and a most loving and wonderful priest. We enjoyed going to his masses and listening to his stories. When he had his "scooter" about, he would give my daughter, Ravyn, a lift - she LOVED going to mass after that first ride! He is greatly missed.
Sincerely,
The Rowlett Family

Fr Joe was everything to Giles and I. He married us (we were first married by the judge)and decided we needed to do the right thing and Fr Joe helped us make all the right decisions. He was a great teacher to our grandchildren who also loved him. He will be greatly missed. He definitely was a man of God. God will Bless him.

God Bless,

Giles & Celeste

Father Joe was the absolute favorite of our entire family. Yes he always got my name wrong (most of the time) but he never ever forgot the childrens' names. He made such an impression on the children and that will be his lasting gift to this world. His stories were wonderful and brought so many closer to God. We will miss you Father Joe and your stories too.

Dear Mullen Family,
We dearly loved our Father Joe here at St. Patrick's, where he lived for 19 years. When he first arrived here there was a huge controversy at our local high school over Planned Parenthood getting their "foot-in'the-door." Father Joe was articulate, courageous, and bold in his support of our youth and Christian family values. We realized then that we had received a special priest in our community - humble but willing to do whatever our good Lord asked of him.
His...

To the Mullen Family,
Please accept my deepest sympathy at the passing of Fr. Joe. It has been many years since I last saw him. Joe was my mother's (Rita Higginbottom Gallagher) first cousin and he would visit us when he could especially when he was at B.C. I remember when JC Super Star came out, I bought the RECORD. My mother thought it on the irreverent side, but Joe thought it was wonderful and loved the music. I played it on the family stereo after that. The Mullen family and all...

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.

Father Mullen was an inspiration to our family for many years at our parish of St. Patricks here in Carlsbad Ca.
